THRIFTY THURSDAYS – The unofficial guide to smelling good on a budget

Hi everyone,

I couldn’t decide what to post for this Thursday, but found my much loved, Kiko Sunny Island Body Splash in my cupboard and thought of how much I loved this fragrance and how inexpensive this product was.

Kiko released in 2013, a limited edition Summer scent. It’s described as ‘a delicate and fresh fragrance with citrus fruits, fresia and peony’. In my opinion, it smells like a combination of a beach and a floral/fruity smell which isn’t too overpowering. I love it!

Soap and Glory Clean on Me shower gel  – This is my all time favourite shower gel. I bought it in Boots during my first year at University and I love the smell of this. It’s so moisturising as it has its own body lotion and has this glorious mandarin scent. The smell lingers for the entire day and smells too good!

Soap and Glory Righteous Body Butter – This is the perfect accompaniment to the shower gel. Smells dreamy and its so moisturising as well. Soap and Glory is my favourite drugstore brand.

Victoria Secret Bombshell Fragrance Mist – The bombshell is the classic scent for Victoria Secret and I love the way it smells. A mist is perfect when it’s hot outside and you want to constantly refresh yourself throughout the day. Pop this bottle on the go and you’ll always smell fantastic.

Marc Jacobs Eau So Fresh – At Sasa, this perfume is under HK$400 and it’s such a beautiful scent. I mentioned this as one of my Summer favourites and I can definitely see myself wearing this perfume for a very long time.

What are your favourite scents?
