MAKEUP MONDAYS – 10 Makeup Products I cannot live without

For my first post, I thought I would share my all time favourite products. All products listed are my personal favourites. I have purchased these products over the years and tested out the colour and finishes on my own skin.

Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24hr Foundation – This is the only foundation, I have ever gone back for seconds. Apart from being long-lasting, a small pump goes a long way. I love how this gives a beautiful full coverage, perfect for a night out. 01 – matches my skin tone effortlessly.

L’Oreal Nude Magique CC Cream (Anti-redness) – If you’re like me, Asian flush is so real! I cannot leave the house without applying my green cream, if I have any intention of having a small sip of alcohol. Don’t be alarmed by the greeness. Squeeze a small amount onto your fingertips, and rub onto the cheeks, T-Zone and chin. The green cream blends into a skin tone colour, and you can apply your foundation on top. This is a makeup staple!

Bobbi Brown Concealer in Beige – I have dark under eye circles and a small dab of this product really does brighten and lessen the redness in the eye area.

Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Palette – This is undoubtedly the best naked palette of them all. These colours suit many skin tones and its so easy to transform a day look to the evening by adding a swish of dark house in the outer crease.

Two Faced Natural Matte Eyeshadow – This palette has 9 gorgeous shades and although I swear by Cashmere Bunny and Sexspresso (yes it’s really called this!) for an everyday look. If I’m feeling adventurous, I’ll switch it up with Strapless for a softer more feminine look. I love the texture of these matte shades. You can wear these without an eye primer, although I highly recommend you use one.

BCL Brow Lash Ex Strong Waterproof Eyeliner – I picked this product up on a limb when visiting my local Sasa. It promised to be 24hrs, and it really is long lasting. I love how effortlessly it glides on the eyes and how deep the black colour is. This product is Japanese and they definitely know how to do eyeliner!

Nars Bronzer in Casino – I used to love Laguna, but now prefer a darker shade of bronzer, perhaps I’m still interested in looking as tanned as possible. (haha!) This is not a shimmery or shiny bronzer, which is exactly why it’s my favourite. I wear it all year round, it’s great for contouring and adding warmth to my very pale face.

Max Factor Color Elixir lipliner in Brown N Nude – The colour is the perfect nude without being too pink or too brown for my lip colour. The formula is not too drying as far as lipliners go and I like topping off this lipliner with a creamy lipstick for a long-lasting finish.

Seventeen Supreme Shine Lipstick in Pink Posey – I cannot rave enough about how much I love this product. Yes, it’s inexpensive and the colour is gorgeous. I instagrammed this photo last year for #nationallipstickday and I still love it so much. They don’t stock this colour any more in Boots, but check out the link to find other colours in this formulation.
